Are You the One?

Ezekiel 22:30 - "And I sought for a man among them, who would make a wall,, and stand in the gap before Me for on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one."

Don't ever think that you are not important. Don't ever think that you are not necessary for the plans of God to be fulfilled in the earth.

God created everyone with a purpose. So often we get stuck at looking at the what is happening on the big platform that we fail to think about what happens behind the scenes. Few people know that if the "behind-the-scene" operation fails, so does what happens on the big platform. The people who work behind the scenes make those of us who operate in the front look amazing!!! I am always grateful for that.

Our text today really paints a clear picture of what can or cannot happen if just ONE person is not doing what God has called them to do. Sometimes, what they do is the key to releasing others to do what they have been called to do. Are you willing to be that ONE?

In our text God is looking for just ONE person who would make a wall and stand in the gap. on behalf of others. He was looking for ONE who would accept the assignment of intercession. God was looking for a super hero and an humble servant all rolled into one. He was looking for someone who was willing to sacrifice their limelight of victory for the for the good of someone else!.

I often wonder, if God was on that same search today, who would He find?

Would you be okay with being the ONE who makes the difference knowing that only you and God knew how it happened?

Would it be reward enough for you to see the results of what you did without receiving any outward recognition?

Are you the person who God is looking for? Do you know of a cause, a business, a family, a city, or ministry that is on the brink of destruction unless somebody makes a wall and stand in the gap? Are willing to be hidden but actively interceding in prayer for the success of it?

Have you thought about what would happen if you refuse to step up?

I know of those who have struggled for years trying to fulfill the vision that God put in their heart. Yet they have been faced with so much opposition and I believe it is because the person who has been called to stand in the gap on their behalf has not done so.

Who's success are you holding up simply because you won't say yes to the assignment of intercession?

I can't say it enough but it only takes ONE person to change God's mind!

It only takes ONE person to answer the call of God!

It only takes ONE person to cause things to turn around for the good for someone else.

Are you willing to be that One?
